PREPARING THE WORLDPACKERS VOLUNTEER SCHEDULE
To ensure service and welcoming of the arrival of worldpackers volunteers, the Head of Manguharjo District, Madiun City, held a focus group discussion (FGD) with the village heads and the Head of the Economic Infrastructure and Natural Resources Division. The FGD was conducted in Bantaran Park under shady trees on Wednesday (March, 26th).
In her direction, Lita Febriana Hapsari _the Manguharjo Sub-district Head- emphasized that volunteers who will help the Tourism Village change project in Madiun City be served as well as possible. Manguharjo District will accept volunteers in April and May, namely volunteers from China, Spain, England and Egypt.
It is expected that the Village Head who is the host will coordinate with the local tourism awareness group to prepare a detailed schedule and guide and connect with the potential in other villages. Do the best for volunteers because they are guests of Madiun City. We must focus on the main change projects, but we must also connect with other potentials, both from within the sub-district and between sub-districts.
Meanwhile, Mas Kahono Pekik -the Head of the Economic Infrastructure and Natural Resources Division- explained the Mayor's order regarding the optimization of the implementation of student study tours within the City of Madiun. This is an opportunity that must be taken by the Tourism Village. The Tourism Village can create a tourism package that highlights local potential, such as art, culture, history and creative economy.
